Below are some of the common enquiries we get:

• CURRENT LEAD TIME:
  We are currently booking up into August for all work excluding roof linings (we have set days for these)
• CAR INTERIORS:
  We are no longer doing full car interior trimming however we still do seat repairs, roof linings & door trims.
• HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE:
  When it comes to recovering household furniture – we don’t do much of this, it tends not to be worth it as the labour involved can quickly add up to buying new. Only sentimental items or smaller straight forward things are generally what our customers find worthwhile.
• WHY ARE WE ONLY OPEN TO PUBLIC 2 DAYS A WEEK?
  We are always really busy and need more uninterrupted time on the tools to get through our workload and try to minimise our lead times as much as we can. Rest assured we have not gone part-time. We are still very much as full-time as ever, just simply trying to work smarter.
• CAN I LEAVE MY JOB WITH YOU FOR WHEN YOU GET TIME?
  Yes and no, depends on the circumstances and job. We don’t mind if someone lives out of town or if it is a very small job that we are hopeful to fit in among other jobs of the same nature, however in most cases we much prefer if we can book you in and add you to our ‘To Do’ list. We will give you a call to bring your item over the week we intend on doing it. We do prioritise our jobs on a first to book basis regardless on if the job is physically in our workshop or not.
• SHADE SAILS:
  Wait times on shade sails can be a little longer due to the process and stages involved in making and installing them. They are also highly weather dependent and rescheduling postponed installs can be a juggle. We try our best! We will have some more FAQ’s on shade sails coming soon.
• MARINA JOBS:
  We have set days scheduled throughout our month for marina quotes and installs. These also are weather dependent. We have limitations on the scale of work we can do on marina boats due to being a one-man show out there on the tools.
